I'm Mike

I was diagnosed with ADHD at 39 and Autism a couple of years later.

 

Before that, I thought I was broken. I failed so many university modules they banned me from studying. I tried every self-help strategy going (and plenty of self medicating). None of it worked—until I understood why it wasn't working. 

 

Coaching changed that. Not the strategies themselves, but the emotional work underneath. The self-compassion. The letting go of shame. The accepting how my brain actually works.

 

Years later, I went back to university and got a First in Psychology and Counselling.

 

Same brain. Different approach.​

 

What works for me won't work for you. But I can help you figure out what does—and build the foundation that makes it sustainable.

What most ADHD advice gets wrong. 

Jumping straight into strategies doesn't work!

You have to address what's underneath. When you've spent years beating yourself up, no strategy will stick.

 

You can't organise your way out of shame.

You can't hack your way past self-doubt.

 

The emotional stuff isn't the soft stuff. It's the foundation.

 

That's where I start. Not with productivity hacks, but with practicing self-compassion, uncovering your strengths, and helping you accept how your brain actually works.

 

Get that right, and the strategies finally have somewhere to land.

If you want a calm and thoughtful space to explore what works for you - we will work well together. 

How it works:

We meet weekly or fortnightly via video call for 60-minute sessions.

Between sessions you'll work on small, manageable actions. No homework pressure - just experiments to see what fits. ​

I'm based in the UK but work with clients anywhere in the world.

 

My standard rate is £80 an hour.

Packages: £350 for five hours - £600 for ten hours.

 

I offer a limited number of reduced rate places for those on lower incomes.  ​​
